ATM
For the convenience of our patients and visitors, automated teller machines (ATM) are located in the hallway near the Cafeteria entrance and in the vestibule near the Seasons Gift Shop.
Cafeteria / Food Service
Located on the ground floor of the Medical Center, the Marketplace offers a wide variety of delicious foods served throughout the day. Muffins and specialty breads are baked fresh each morning. Fresh bananas, along with hot and cold cereal, are also available each morning. Lunch and dinner feature a large salad bar, hot soup and freshly baked bread. A self-service cooler offers fresh fruit, yogurts and beverages throughout the entire day and evening. Service hours are listed below.

Breakfast 6:30-9:30 am | Lunch 11 am-1:30 pm | Dinner 4:30-6:30 pm
Limited selections are also available from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m.
Vending machines provide sandwiches, snacks and assorted beverages 24 hours a day in the dining room. Beverage and snack machines are also located throughout the Medical Center.

Patients at Borgess Medical Center may be contacted in three ways:

Mail - Borgess Health volunteers pick up and deliver mail to patients daily. Individuals may send mail to the patient's attention:

Telephone - Most patients have a telephone at their bedside with a direct line. Individuals may contact the Borgess Operator at (269) 226-7000 to contact a patient if they do not know the direct dial number.

Email - Most patient rooms have access to the Internet through their televisions. Patients with existing eMail accounts can access their eMail using the system provided in their room. Patients without an existing e-mail account may sign up for a free account.
Patient Condition Reports
Family and friends are invited to call (269) 226-4834 at any time for a condition on a patient. The condition offered will be good, fair, serious or critical. More information may be obtained from the nurses station. However, critical care units may limit more detailed information to close family members only.
Gifts
Borgess Health Volunteers operate the Seasons Gift Shop, located on the Ground Floor in the new atrium, across from the information desk. Reading materials, flowers and other gifts, toiletries and candy may be purchased from the shop. The Seasons Gift Shop is open from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. The Seasons Gift Shop may be reached at (269) 226-7379.
Please note: latex balloons are prohibited in Borgess Medical Center due to patients and employees who may have latex allergies. Mylar balloons are acceptable.
Borgess Health & Fitness Center
The Borgess Health & Fitness Center is available for family members of long-term patients. Please call (269) 552-2348 (or 2-2348 from within the hospital) for more information.
Internet Access
Many patient rooms have access to The @ Hospital Network, which allows patients to surf the Internet and use e-mail, as well as watch educational videos and learn more about Borgess through their television sets. Patients, their families and friends can use either a remote or keyboard in the patient room to use this service. Borgess Medical Center patients and guests can now wirelessly access the Internet with their laptops in the BMC Atrium and adjacent waiting rooms, as well as in the Surgery Waiting Room on 5 Center.
Outpatient Pharmacy
The Borgess Outpatient Pharmacy is located off the new atrium on the ground floor, adjacent to the Seasons Gift Shop. The Pharmacy participates in many, but not all, prescription plans and provides many non-prescription items for the convenience of our patients and their guests. Spiritual Care / Chapel
The Interfaith Chapel, located on the ground floor in the South Lobby of the Medical Center, is open 24 hours a day for private prayer. For information on Catholic Masses held in the Chapel, please contact the Spiritual Care office at (269) 226-4898, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The staff may also be able to help individuals find services of other faiths in the area. In addition, Spiritual Care staff members are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help patients and families work through spiritual issues.
